Katie Bridges, LPC studied at North Carolina State University received her degree in BA in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies, Art and the Human Experience. She received her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology with a concentration
on Psychiatric Disability from the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She is originally from the Washington D.C area and has been practicing in the Raleigh area since 2013.
She enjoys working with patients who have transgender and gender non-conforming issues, major medical issues, autism and military personnel and their families. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and member of WPATH. Katie uses a very person-centered therapy technique and she incorporates expressive art therapies.Katie enjoys exploring new art techniques and mediums, baking homemade recipes and loving on her two pit bulls.
